The Sisters Behind the Brand.

Our Story

Natalia and I are sisters and we’ve always been really close. Some people even mistake us as twins! We play all the sports, love the same subjects in school, and are best friends.

Towards the end of 2012, our mom’s favorite pair of earrings broke. Our mom immigrated to the United States as a teenager and these earrings were one of the few valuables that she brought with her. We knew how much they meant to her, so we gathered up all our money to buy the tools we would need to fix them. After several YouTube videos and lots of practice, we were able to fix our mom's earring and return it to her just in time for her birthday. We discovered we had a skill in making and designing intricate earrings, so we started a company together that we named Lighthouse Jewels. To this day, we are selling high quality handmade earrings in boutique stores in New England and online.

Look at how far we have come:

From selling our jewelry on Martha’s Vineyard in 2013 to now!

We make our jewelry completely by hand and everything is hand packaged by us, with love. We use only the finest quality: pure sterling silver, fresh water pearls, real Swarovski crystals, and genuine semi-precious stones such like amethyst, jade, and labradorite.

All our designs are inspired by growing up in New England with so much beautiful scenery all around us, from the beautiful beaches in Maine to Cape Cod to Rhode Island and to the green mountains in Vermont and of course Martha’s Vineyard. Most places you adventure in New England, you’re bound to see a Lighthouse eventually.

Throughout her time at Columbia, she has racked up an impressive resume - so much that it is hard to believe that she even has time to sleep at night and quite impossible to sum up in a short paragraph. Past experience includes Goldman Sachs, Romulus Capital, NEA, and more. She is currently founding a student loan start-up Verit (veritloans.com) and will join McKinsey & Co as a consultant after her Masters.
